NEARPAD DOCUMENTATION

How NearPad works.

Launch a token on Solana through pump.fun. Understand where creator fees go, what you sign, and how NEAR fits into the plan.

Create a token

01Overview

NearPad is a launch interface for pump.fun on Solana. You enter your token details on NearPad and approve creation with your own Solana wallet. The token is created by the pump.fun program on Solana mainnet.

NearPad assigns the token’s creator fee recipient to its treasury during creation. Its longer-term direction is a connected market on NEAR funded by accumulated fees. NearPad is an application, not a separate Solana layer 2.

Solana first. NEAR next.

Token creation is connected to mainnet. NEAR mirroring and cross-chain swaps are not enabled. A completed launch is shown only after on-chain confirmation.

02What is available

AvailableSolana wallet connection, token preparation, transaction review and pump.fun creation.
PlannedNEAR mirror pools, fee-funded liquidity, price synchronization and NEAR Intents swaps.

No NEAR funding threshold, launch date or liquidity buffer has been announced in the app. Missing market information is displayed as a dash, never as estimated activity.

03Launch a token

  1. Connect your wallet. Open NearPad in a browser with a compatible Solana wallet and select Connect wallet.
  2. Enter token details. Add a name, ticker, image and description. An X profile and website are optional.
  3. Prepare the launch. Select Review launch and sign the upload authorization message. NearPad uploads the metadata and simulates creation.
  4. Review and sign. Check the creator fee recipient and SOL estimate. Approve the creation transaction in your wallet.
  5. Wait for confirmation. NearPad tracks the transaction and provides links to the confirmed token and transaction.

The current flow creates a SOL-paired token without an initial token purchase. It does not enable mayhem mode or holder rewards.

04Wallets & signatures

Use a compatible Wallet Standard wallet such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. The wallet must support Solana mainnet, message signing and transaction signing. On mobile, open NearPad inside your wallet’s browser.

The upload authorization is a message signature. The launch approval is a separate transaction signature that authorizes an on-chain action and its costs. Read each wallet request before approving it.

Your wallet’s seed phrase and private key are never requested. NearPad generates a new mint key in your browser to co-sign creation. NEAR wallet connection will arrive with the mirror-market integration.

05Creator fees

Tokens created through NearPad designate the NearPad treasury as their pump.fun creator fee recipient. The wallet that pays to launch the token is not the creator fee recipient in this flow.

Creator fees accrue in pump.fun creator vaults. Moving them into the treasury wallet requires an on-chain claim. NearPad does not currently run an automatic claim service.

Pump.fun protocol and liquidity-provider fees remain governed by pump.fun. NearPad does not redirect those fees. There is no X Money payout, buyback or creator revenue-sharing program in the current NearPad launch flow.

06Launch costs

Your connected wallet pays the Solana transaction fee and the account-creation costs required by the launch. Keep enough SOL in that wallet before preparing a token.

NearPad simulates the transaction and shows an estimate before signing. The amount is obtained from the network rather than a fixed price list. If the estimate or transaction expires, refresh it before trying again. This estimate does not include a token purchase.

07Images & metadata

Use a PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 5 MB. The form accepts a token name up to 32 characters, an alphanumeric ticker from 2 to 10 characters, and a description up to 500 characters.

Preparing a launch publishes the image and metadata to public IPFS through Pinata. Uploads can happen before you sign the creation transaction. Canceling the launch does not make previously published content private.

Do not include private information in the image or description. Check the spelling and links before reviewing the transaction; NearPad does not provide a metadata editor for already launched tokens.

08Confirmation & recovery

A wallet signature alone is not proof that a token launched. NearPad submits the signed transaction and checks its status on Solana. The token appears in Explore after the transaction is confirmed or finalized.

If submission times out, check the existing transaction before preparing another launch. NearPad stores the attempt on the server and a recovery reference in your browser so the page can resume status checks after a refresh.

A rejected wallet request does not create a token. For a failed or expired transaction, read the status shown on the page and retry only when the previous attempt is no longer pending.

09Explore & trading

Explore lists confirmed launches recorded by NearPad. Search by name, ticker or mint address. The registry is not a complete index of every token on pump.fun.

Price and market cap for active SOL bonding curves are calculated from pump.fun on-chain reserves and supply, converted to USD using DexScreener’s SOL price. Indexed markets provide fallback prices and market caps. The 24h volume sums indexed Solana pools for the token; new pools may take time to appear. Data refreshes every 30 seconds. A dash means data is unavailable, not zero. NEAR funding figures remain unavailable until mirroring is enabled.

The token page links to its pump.fun market for trading. Embedded swaps and live chart indexing are not enabled in the current release.

10NEAR mirror markets

A mirror market is a planned second market on NEAR associated with a token’s Solana market. The intended model uses accumulated creator fees to fund liquidity once a configured threshold is reached.

The planned NEAR swap route uses NEAR Intents. A solver and rebalancing service would manage execution and liquidity. These services, the pools and the fee-to-liquidity flow are not currently active.

Price parity is a target, not a guarantee.

Different liquidity, fees and execution timing can produce different prices. A future swap interface will need to show the quote, spread, slippage and available liquidity before a trade.

When enabled, pool addresses, funding thresholds and buffer sizes will come from the backend. There is no automatic graduation to NEAR in the current launch flow.

11Troubleshooting

No wallet appears
Open the site in the browser where your wallet extension is installed, unlock it and try Connect wallet again. Embedded browsers may not expose wallet extensions.
The upload fails
Check the file format and size, then retry Review launch. A retry may request a new message signature. Uploading metadata alone does not launch the token.
Simulation fails
Check your mainnet SOL balance and retry the estimate. Network availability or a rejected program instruction can also cause simulation failure.
The wallet request was rejected
Return to the form and review the details before trying again. NearPad cannot approve requests on your behalf.
The transaction is pending
Use the transaction link to inspect its status. Keep the existing attempt and avoid creating another token while confirmation is unresolved.
The token is missing from Explore
Check that its launch was confirmed through NearPad. A pending or failed transaction is not added to the confirmed registry.
